Recommended Hand Creams For Dry Working Hands

So we all have those days where we look at our hands and wish there was a hand cream out there to save our hard working hands. I wash my hands a lot, I work in a dry environment, my skin often gets so dry that it feels rough and my skin actually peels by the time im off work. -_-

Sounds horrible right?

Well it is.

BUT there is a solution for this and here are the two hand cream that I use and recommend.

1. Crabtree & Evelyn Ultra moisturising hand cream

This has got to be one of the best hand creams I have ever used! It is not too greasy as long as you use a moderate amount. If you are someone that washes your hand very often throughout the day, I think this hand cream will work well for your skin. It claims to soften your skin with each use, which I find that it did help smooth some of my dry skin out from work. It also claims to condition the cuticles and nails.. now that is a big WOW and a big PLUS to the product. I am not sure about how much it conditions my nails since I have polish on top of it all the time, but I see the change in my cuticles. It is not as dry after a week of my manicure. Usually the cuticles start to look dry and ugly at the end of the week, but this hand cream helps with those problems.

The consistency is not too thick, and can be very light if you use a small amount

Although I would like to say that this hand cream has helped with my dry skin but I think it only did 40% of the work. I feel that if you are someone who just does office work, or getting dry hands from the dry winter air, this will probably do the job for you.

The packaging of this product reminds me of the L'occitane packaging. I use to really like L'occitane hand cream, but I think it only made my skin smooth for a few hours or until I washed my hands. I don't feel like it really helped if you are looking for a long term product. I would definitely prefer Crabtree & Evelyn over L'occitane. There is also a variety of different scents to choose from, I recommend evelyn rose; it is a very light rose fragrance. Give it a try!

2. Kamill Hand Cream; Nagelcreme

This hand cream is a MUST GET! I love it to death. It is what saved my hand from having dry crack skin. I will list out the pro and cons although I feel like the pro overrides the cons because I have gone through my 3rd bottle of this and recommended to all my family and friends. Now for the Pros, its moisturizing, smooths out rough skin, intensive, nice fragrance, moisture lasts for more than 12 hours. Cons: It is pretty heavy/thick, bad for day use and...thats it!

This hand cream is really bad for day time use, however I use a generous amount at night and allow it work its magic while I am sleeping. The next morning when I wake up and wash my hands, I can still feel the moisture/cream that is on my hands. After washing my hands, I instantly feel a difference in the dry skin. It is A-MAZING!

Can you tell the consistency is thicker?
Now this creme contains chamomile extracts and bisabolol to sooth the dry skin and protect dry skin. It also contains aloe vera and avocado oil to help moisturize the skin. I am not good with describing scents, but it smells a bit floral. It is not a overwhelming scent for me so therefore I am able to just leave it in my hands overnight and sleep with it. My sister does not like anything scented, however because this creme works really well, she uses it every night as well.

This post is pretty long, but after reading about it, will you give these hand cream a try or have you used it already?
